Advocacy Coordinator - Race Discrimination

Daniel has a long and varied experience in campaigning and working with communities experiencing discrimination and racialised policing and has lots of experience working with young people from CALD backgrounds in many different settings.
He has been Executive Officer at Tarwirri-Indigenous Law Students and Lawyers Association since 2014 – has presented or overseen the Police Accountability legal education session with the PLEA  – Prisoner Legal Education Project for nearly 7 years, is on the Board at the Young Workers Centre and has been the Mayor  of the Yarra City Council and remains a Melba Ward Councillor.
Daniel’s position brings together coordination of the Peer Advocacy Team and the Without Suspicion campaign which drives our racial profiling advocacy work.
